I had a recent issue with Dronelink variable gimbal pitch with my Air 2s; it used to work but supposed there is a bug in the DJI SDK so it won't work. So no I am investigating Litchi so see if it is a viable alternative. From what I've found the gimbal can be controlled at waypoints--not a problem. The problem is that I can't find a way with Litchi to control the drone heading relative to path or course. From what I found the drone compass heading can be set at each waypoint so the heading wouldn't change as the path curves.
I think the difference is how Dronling and Litchi manage the course: Litchi uses the GPS waypoints that are the basis for the course while Dronelink relies on active programmed virtual stick movements to manage the flight.
While on the Litchi topic, I couldn't find anywhere that the flight would stop when off course like it does for Dronelink.
