We want to execute a slide shot - E.G., the camera moves sideways for a bit of a longer shot.

For example. At waypoints 01, 02, 03 and 04 the gimbal and heading are on POI.01. At waypoints 05, 06, and 07 on POI.02.

At 04 and 05 the heading is 180° and what we want is for the heading to remain 180° as it moves from 04 to 05.

What we are getting is that as it leaves 04 the camera quickly pans over to POI.02 or IOW, the heading changes to POI.02 so about 220° and then slowly goes back to 180° as it moves towards 05 and keeps POI.02 as its focus.

Thanks.

Am I thinking correctly that I need a waypoint directly adjacent to and east of 04 that is on POI.01 and then have 04 have no POI but the 180° heading and then have no POI but heading of 180° for what is now waypoint 05 and add a new waypoint directly adjacent to it and on its west that is POI.02?

Get rid of the POIs all together and set yaw and pitch manually. You can make a note of the gimbal pitch before you erase them; enter it in manually if you want to keep it the same. "Virtual Litchi Mission" will be helpful, as stated above.
