Just thinking out load here.

What happens when on a mission and the craft looses GPS? Im thinking it would just land.

Obviously it cannot continue the mission without GPS guidance, and it cannot RTH either.
But why would the drone lose GPS?

If the drone loses GPS and isn't low enough for the visual sensors to work, then it will switch to ATTI mode. (and promptly crash unless you are using the controller to try to mitigate that)

Being in atti mode won't crash your drone at all.
It will cancel the waypoint flight and still maintain altitude and be fully controllable, but subject to wind drift.

Oops was thinking control signal loss yes as the others have stated no gps the aircraft will eventually crash wherever the wind takes it.
Crashing would not be the obvious outcome.
If you still have control signal or manage to regain signal, your drone in atti mode would still be fully controllable.
If you have no control signal and your Litchi mission is configured to continue after loss of signal, your drone would drift until reaching critical low voltage level and then autoland.

Of course it is. But if you can't see it you can't control is what I was getting at. LOL
