However accurate precision landing is with any other app. Precision landing is controlled by the aircraft not the app

In the case of M2, PL is automatic, just as long as you took off high enough vertically.

In the case of the M1, that prompted you in the Go app to engage PL or not.

I’ve found that my M2Z (basically the same as your M2P) does not land exactly where it took off from after a Litchi mission. It is usually lands a couple of meters away from the landing pad when it returns. Haven't figured out why yet?

Take off vertically past 23 feet before you head out, then try it.

Make sure you've got Precision Landing selected in Litchi first. Take off straight up to 33ft, to allow bottom cameras to photograph landing site, then away you go.
My Mavic returns to within an inch or two.

FlytDock is a good alternative.

You are forgetting to mention that this device is not compatible with any DJI consumer drone platforms. You need Matrice series / A3 / N3 FC's or you could try to implement the FlytOS (required to work with the Landing Pad) on your Mavic ...
