I'm trying to fly a mission at 3 feet using Litchi with a Mavic Pro Platinum. If I enter 3 feet for my waypoints and start the mission, it raises up to 6 feet and starts. Nothing I've done so far allows anything lower than this. Any ideas how to get this lower flight altitude?

Dig a hole in the ground 3' deep and take off from that.

This has been suggested. I’ll be digging a lot of holes. I wouldn’t mind getting stronger though.

i have not looked at the nld ( no limit dronz) set up to see if i can re set this but i had the same thing. using litchi i wanted to fly a 6' circle around a poi 3' off the ground and got a error that the minimum was 16' alt. and 16' dia. if i figure it out ill let you know. dig a hole. what a asshat. the good on these forums is folks helping achieve the potential of their drones. i bet some one on here knows how to do it,,,, with out a shovel!

Since the heights are based on your takeoff point; if you could takeoff from a spot lower than your waypoints you should be able to get close to the ground. It won't work if the area is flat but if there is a slope it might. I do not know if Litchi uses the vision positioning sensors so it may not work if it does.

Make sure you can see it throughout the entire mission and have your finger on the pause button. Three feet does not leave much margin for error.

After talking to the people at Litchi and doing my own testing, I can confirm that this limitation is based on the VPS forcing the Mavic up to 2 meters. This particular limitation has nothing to do with the home point altitude. I've turned off every other protection and it will still get pushed up to 6 feet. But once I turn off VPS the mission will run at the actual height entered into the waypoints. Unfortunately, it flies terribly without VPS so it's pretty much unusable without VPS on. It moves up and down to much. It will eventually crash. And either way, the footage is pretty bad. I'm still looking for a way around it, maybe modifying the firmware, but as of yet, I have no answer.
