Looking for help retrieving drone from tree

Throwing laterally long distance is easy. I doubt that a world series pitcher could throw vertically 100'. Pro arborists use professional slingshots. You can get to 100' that way, and shake it like crazy!
I'm old and I bet I could throw a baseball 100 feet vertically. It would only have to be thrown at 55mph.

Hi guys! I’m wondering if anyone with a claw rig would be up for trying to airlift my stuck Air 2S from a tall ponderosa tree? My neighbor says he’s not willing to let an arborist climb the tree, sadly… Happy to compensate!
I tied a nylon string to an arrow shot it over the branch The string needs to be nylon to slide and long enough to reach the ground. Some one on the ground with blanket to catch. You pull on string to bounce the branch. It took 30 minutes for 50 feet. Mavic 3, i did break a prop

Is your neighbor worried about someone getting hurt, or using spurs on the tree? I’m too old for it now, but I used to hold a tree climbing certification when I worked for the Forest Service. We used sectional tree climbing ladders to climb up to the first branches then free climbed up to the top (while setting a safety line in case of a fall). That method of climbing does not injure a tree, and we never used climbing spurs. A good arborist can do this method of climbing. Here’s a website:

that lists people in regions across the world that will help out. Many of them are professional arborists with their own insurance. I would make sure it’s someone who actually has personal insurance because the landowner may be liable if they get hurt.
