Lost connection with app

I was flying my mavic air fine - using S9. I powered down, repositioned and wanted to fly again. RC was beeping and did not pair. I did the manual pairing. Now my app stayes disconnected and I cannot see the camera view. How to get my app to see the drone?

It seems like a recent app update makes it impossible or very unreliable to connect the phone for some people. The same thing happened to me today. I do not have a fix.
