Lost control, what happened?

I got my mavic last month and love it.

I usually fly over water, and I'm always somewhat nervous it will fall down.
A few weeks ago I lost control for about 10 seconds. It started spinning, and I'm really not sure what happened. It sounds like it was a wind gust, but after this happened, I have trouble relying on the mavic. Can someone more experienced tell me: was this a near crash? Is this normal behaviour of the mavic in sudden strong winds? Should I be worried about this?

thanks in advance!

I streamed to youtube as this happened.

All you can do is run through calibrations and see if it behaves.
I think we've all had odd moments when not sure if it was responding correctly, often it's owner brain fade though ;)
Controller > IMU > Compass

The video looks a bit like gimbal reboot which is infrequent but not unheard of 'normal' event..
