LTC3780(Mavic Charger) - how to Turn the garbage to gold.

The original LTC 3780(CC CV mode, blue color board) circuit, it have take a cheap garbage capacitor and low grade OP-AMP.

It cause very huge charging current error range, it mean Mavic battery is somtimes enter the "Over current protection mode" or "Slowly charging than original charger"

So, if you want to use outdoor charger that LTC3780 board, you have necessery reduce the error range.

Desolder garbage parts.
1. All of electrolytic Capacitors
-> they have Silver color generally.

2. LM358 opamp
-> it locate around blue color 504 potentiometer and R007 shunt resistor.

And other parts. (If you want)




I remove the

1. Capacitor
2. LM 358 OPA
3. LTC3780EG main chipset.

Note: However, in the photo, only the electrolytic capacitor is removed.

And......

Change it good parts.

Finally, i can get the High performance LTC 3780 Board!

All capacitor changed garbage to "genuine panasonic polymer capacitor"

And, LM358 Opamp changed LM258 OP.
258 have a wide operating temperature than LM358.

And, changed the LTC3780 Main chip.
->Considering the possibility of a failing Chinese chipset with poor performance, i was replaced it with a genuine TI.

# all chip and part purchase from "Digi key"
# It mean "no copy. Only jenuine"
