M2P flashing lines in video feed

I know there is a thread on this already but I can’t find it.
I’m fixing a Mavic 2Pro for a guy who crashed it and had to buy it. Some gimbal parts, new signal cable, Yaw motor, gimbal mount and some props and I’m all good right? Wrong.
There are flashing white and black lines in the video feed now that the client said were not there before the crash. They do show up even in the recording. I attached photos I grabbed from a screen recording. They are very regular. Always there in picture mode no matter what settings, but the lines will go away in video mode when set to 48 fps and higher.
I figured it was the camera. Swapped it, nope. Gimbal module? Nope. Try another camera? Nope. Ribbon cable? Nope. Swap out another signal cable? YEP!
I went through a lot because I received a defective signal cable. Holding it under a magnifying glass I cant see anything wrong with it either.
I know other people are having this issue so I wanted to let you know what the problem is. Make sure to buy a brand new signal cable and not a used one.

To me the vertical/horizontal grid suggests that "Grid" is switched on in the camera menu.
EDIT, I didn't read far enough
The diagonal Zebra striping looks like over-exposure warning, also in the camera menus, but the width of the stripes seems a bit narrow and I don't have enough battery charge to go experimenting and can't remember how it is switched on. I also wouldn't expect the over exposed area to be a regular rectangle.

This is not the typical "zebra stripes" to warn of overexposure. And zebra stripes do not show up in the recording.
And as OP says, the stripes disappeared when he swapped a signal cable. So this was a signal error.

Gimbals can be expensive to troubleshoot! That's why when it comes to the gimbal its best to send it in.
Glad you got the problem fixed.

Ahh didn't read far enough into the opening post, I primarily looked the pictures lol, WHOOPS.

Here’s another photo from the screen shots of the video I took. I’m putting this in for the people saying it is the over exposure “zebra” lines. The photo wasn’t relevant until you guys made it relevant as it didn’t show the white/black lines. So you can see the white on my T-Shirt is over exposed (“zebra lines”)but there is good video otherwise. I wish I could have posted the actual video. In the actual video, it just looks like a white flash on the screen it is so fast. But not until dragging through the video frame by frame can you see the white/black stripes that I did the screen shot photos.
So. To recap, I fixed this problem by buying a brand new PTZ/Signal cable from AliExpress. The used cable I got from Amazon, probably someone parting out broken drones, was defective. No broken wires no bent pins nothing obvious wrong with it. I wonder if 2 of the wires rubbed/wore through the insulation and were shorting together to cause this? Best logic I can come up with.
I certainly appreciate ideas and suggestions. That’s how we come together to solve problems. Even if they are already solved or just inspire us to look in a new direction.

You could have "overbent" the other cable they are like playing with glass. I will go with bad connector. On my Mavic 1 I didnt even bother to test the cables I just bought them along with the new gimble makes for a trouble free repair.
