I did not get hassled. I took off from a parking lot south of the bridge. From what I've read, you cannot take off from the state park located right by the water.

I just flew there this past weekend. It is a violation to fly within 1000' of the bridge/I75. This was straight from the Bridge Authorities. I called them...
