What a tragedy...

LAWRENCE, Ind. - A suspect is in custody for the impending death of a man in Lawrence today.

A man, later identified as 41-year-old Brad McKinney, of Mooresville, was shot this afternoon while attempting to buy a drone.

Police believe during the transaction a third person, later identified as 34-year-old Richard Chambers, of Pendleton, came up and shot the victim in the head outside a home at 48th and Longworth, just east of 46th St. and 465.

Police said McKinney was originally pronounced dead, but later said he has been declared brain dead while the organ donation process takes place.

WOW! The media is fascinated with crushing drones. What difference does it make what he was buying when he got shot. I am sure the shooting had NOTHING to do with drones. This is just a case of a drone being in the wrong place at the right time.

Guy's before anyone starts up on this lets see just what happened and not start a mess on this . We all know how these threads go and this one isn't . Him buying the drone might not had nothing to do with the killing as has been said already but I am just saying lets not speculate to early yet and
I am not saying this to the ones that have posted but everyone else .Converse but just keep this in mind .

My comment was made after reading the entire story in the link.
The only mention of drone was "while purchasing a drone". Just enough to show up in a generic "drone" search.
Linking killing and drones, however very loosely, is just a crappy thing for the media to do.

The drone was probably unrelated to the shooting. Could have been Dominos dropping off a pizza.

That's what's news is all about nowadays, getting clicks. Most people only read the headlines and get the wrong perspective. What to think about millennials who never read a real paper made of paper?

I could think of a shocking SF novel, extrapolating this to the future.
