Anyone else find it difficult or a pain in the butt to swap out the filters on the Mavic 2 pro? I feel like I’m holding the gimble to hard or manipulating it to much to get the cover on and off. I have a little handy dandy tool to help but feel you still have ur hands all over the camera and gimble.

I just hold camera/gimbal firmly with one hand and with the other I push in slightly and twist counter clock-ways and it comes off easily ... I’m more concerned with fingerprints than breaking something BUT , that might be to my naivety’ .... [emoji41]
What tool do you have ?

PolarPro makes a plastic tool and ships it with many filter kits. Works like a charm and keeps my fingers away from the filter.

I have a 3D printer and printed a little holder for my filters. You still have to hold the camera & gimbal, but this tool holds the filter and gives your hand a much larger area to grasp. With a tool like this, installing and removing the Mavic 2 Pro Hasselblad filters becomes trivial.

I don't know if there is a commercial version of this, and I do know that even though the mount has to be standard, the actual outside dimensions of ND filters from different manufacturers is slightly different, so you have to get a tool (or design it) which matches your particular filter.

Here's the design of my filter:
