This is an extraordinary bundle for someone serious about flying and who plans on being in the air a lot and really wants a flying system FAR superior to what can be offered with the stock controller and a mobile device.
Once you start flying with a SMART CONTROLLER you will NEVER want to fly with stock controller. Screen brightness is extraordinary and near instantaneous start up with no annoying cables. And once you start flying with a Smart Controller AND a field monitor.....you will wonder how you flew without it.
When you connect an HDMI monitor to your smart controller, you have the choice of having the monitor be a DUPLICATE of your smart controller screen or JUST THE CAMERA view. This is what I use. The monitor is 7 glorious inches of razor sharp 4K images without any of the clutter of the telemetry data. So I use that to compose shots and it is wonderful flying experience.
The Monitor is attached to the Liftthor Smart Controller Mount with an [pro]master quick release plate system: So if you also use a DSLR or other item that you want to use the monitor with....it's a SNAP! I use this to quickly go from my smart controller to my camera when I am doing interior real estate photography.
