Mavic 3 Pro Cine - RC Pro won't stay connected

Hello all,

I just purchased a the new mavic 3 cine. I flew it twice and everything was great, then all of sudden the RC wouldn't stay connected to the drone. It's really weird, the connection just comes in and out. Even when the RC is right next to the drone.

I updated the firmware of both the drone and RC today thinking that might help and I'm still having the same problem.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Unfortunately quite a few of us are experiencing the same. I actually think the problem is worse with the new firmware released yesterday. A few threads exist about this already. You can read a little more here:

Mine has been "better" since I refreshed the firmware on the RC Pro, but I still get a fairly consistent disconnect 45-60 seconds in. At least I know to expect it now, but I haven't had it disconnect other than that. It still doesn't make me comfortable flying it in most areas. FWIW, the auto return to home on disconnect works great. (lol)

ok thank you! I had trouble even getting the controller to connect for upgrading the firmware of the drone. hopefully they get this sorted out. it's nice to know there are others and I'm not crazy, but it also feels like it's not happening to everyone. it was hard to find any info on this issue online.

Rebinding mine to the radio made a difference. I cant prove it or logically explain it but.... it did.

I like to imagine 1000+ drones at the DJI factory, all online, using up all the 5 and 2.4 Gz and somehow redoing what was already done changes "something"

Apparently, this problem is not only with the Mav3. My Air 2S with RC Pro is losing comms and forcing RTH. Multiple times with Multiple batteries and all within 100 feet elevation, 150 yards distance.. Nothing more than an extremely expensive child's toy at this point. Very Disgusting!!!

similar problem with my mavic 3..RC connection lost mid flight..with drone 10 meters away in sight. DJI told me to ship it back for repair. I am new to dji drones so i would appreciate feedback.

i laughed cause ive got the same problem with my mavic 3.
