OsitaLV a well known DJI drone informant/ leaker posted this on his Twitter. I am hoping this is a safer way to use the Wide Angle lens. I'm waiting for someone on MavicPilots to verify that there is a method that involves removing a magnet.

I removed the “magnets” and it still triggered it.

That's too bad. I am not sure what DJI is afraid of in crippling the lens. Maybe someone will make a third party one that doesn't trigger the restrictions.
