Mavic 3 waypoints in nightmode

Hello, last night I tried flying my mavic 3 using nightmode and wanted to use waypoints. I was able to set each point but when it started the mission it automatically switched to its regular mode and disabled the nightmode. Had someone tried this? Does it work? Not sure if I missing something.

I don't have a Mavic 3 but it seems a lot of DJI software is siloed for it's specific purpose, ie waypoint mode doesn't work with night mode and vice versa or HDR doesn't work in POI mode etc., etc. It can only do one programmed mode at a time for the most part. At least that's the way the software seems to be written.

Thanks for your reply. There are many things that aren't clear and it is very hard to get answers. This is one, being able to reverse waypoints in video mode (in hyperlapse you can do it) is another one. Hopefully future firmware updates will make things like this work.

You can only shoot in normal video mode when using waypoints like you have found out.

I’ve seen this can be done but mine also turns off.
