Mavic Air 2 in Queen Creek

Any one know how far can I safely fly my Mavic Air 2 out and back on a full charge battery? I just want to set my range limit and not have to worry about it not coming back.

I don't think there is a set answer to your question. I fly a Mavic 2 Pro right now, and notice that the distance I feel like I can safely achieve is based on wind , speed of flying etc ... many variables. I use the "Return to Home" indication as a guide for when I should have the drone return.

@earlbalentine its whatever your Visual line of site is capable of seeing the drone ,and being able to know its orientation ,for me with my old eyes thats about 1000 ft using my nav lights front and rear if its an overcast darkish sort of day then i can still see the lights at around 1500 ft this is for my MPP, the MM is a whole different kettle of fish due to its size, and for that 600 ft is about my limit

Mesa AZ here. It is not "how far" you can fly your drone. It is how far you can fly your drone and maintain VLOS. Enjoy!
