For those not in the know, that is the minimum specs for SD card compatibility. You will encounter issues using a card less than Speed Class 10 and a U3 rating.

Just to clarify this, the Air 2 can shoot at a maximum bitrate of 120Mbps which is 15MB/s which means the card needs to have a minimum sustained write speed of at least 15MB/s, and generally you want some leeway there.

The read/write speeds expressed in MB/s on the front of the cards or in manufacturer specifications are nothing more than theoretical instantaneous maximums and can be completely ignored for the purposes of shooting video.

A Class 10 card simply means it has a minimum sustained write speed of 10MB/s, which is not enough, so it's best to ignore that classification. Any appropriate card for the Air 2 will automatically meet Class 10 certification, but not every Class 10 card is suitable for the Air 2. You can disregard the "Class 10" certification entirely.

V10 / V30 / V60 / V90 = minimum sustained write speed in MB/s. You need at least a V30 for the Air 2 (corresponding to 30MB/s, as they do not make V15 or V20 cards)

U1, U3 = another standard for minimum sustained write speed in MB/s (1 = 10, 3 = 30). You need at least a U3 (30MB/s) for the Air 2, as once again there is not a classification in-between those values.

Long story short, you want a card that says U3 or V30 on it (or higher) - nothing else matters other than your desired capacity.

Walmart now carries the Sandisk Imagemate Pro cards. They meet the Air 2's requirements. Also, I accidently picked up a 128gb Sandisk Imagemate Plus card, and, even though it's rated lower, it works too. I don't use it in the Air 2, but, it seems to work fine. For what it's worth.
