Mavic Air 2S ESC 30038 error code

When I try to take off, motors on the port side spin, but those on the starboard side don't. Using RC Pro controller. The only thing I've done differently is use batteries from my Air 2 in the Air 2S. I've since refreshed firmwares. Still get the Motor Failure message. It did this once a week ago, twice, taking off crooked. But worked fine since then until today.

I see Air 2 uses V01.01.0920 while Air 2S uses V01.01.921 firmware?

Thought that Air2 and Air2S batteries are compatible.

Me, too. But when I put swapped them, I got a message saying a component was incompatible and I needed to update my Air 2S firmware. It didn't indicate what was involved.

How did you update your Air 2s firmware?
Did you check on the Fly app for any other items that should be updated?
What battery data is provided on the Fly app? How many times charged?
Ever any crashes or hard landings?
What happens if your put the original battery back in?

When all else fails, contact DJI support.

1. When I have updated my Phantom and Mavic, each battery needs to be "updated" to solve the incompatible component message. Maybe it's the same with yours.
2. The ESC and props not turning are a whole different matter.
