Mavic Air is landing hard

Lately my Mavic Air has been landing as if the ground is 3' lower than it actually is. Not crashing, but landing hard especially when returning home. I've seen this behavior in both the Litchi and DJI apps.

Any thoughts?

check and see if your downward sensors are turned off, without them when it goes to land it will go straight to the ground without pausing and landing slowly.

it could also be that they need cleaning gently with a canned air ,or air puffer then a gentle wipe after the dust has been removed, also if you have fitted something under the body this can affect the sensors

Have you tries to re-calibrate the vision sensors with DJI Assistant on the computer?
