Has anyone used any of the aftermarket accessories such as the Mavic Mini camera filters or a "small" case that fits the drone and controller? I am only seeing the PGYTECH filter (red color) with the two-prong-hang-on system and the JRS (off-brand gold color) filter that dont appear to attach but obviously, they must. Given no manual video adjustments, these filters are critical for getting fantastic shots over water and snow.

Additionally, I purchased the non-fly-more combo so I am in the market for a decent "very small and portable" case that accommodates both the drone and controller as a minimum. I have seen the PGYTECH version and it is close to what I am looking for but has anyone had hands on?

Question for the pro's, what ND or ND/PL filter would you recommend as a "catch all" filter? I chose the a polarized ND4 as my M2P primary but I don't see any 4's out there for the Mavic Mini. I am looking for good color saturation and contrast...duh, lol. Mostly sunny or partly cloudy conditions. Again, I realize there are many levels but I am not looking to swap them out. One filter to rule them all, my best guess is an ND8 but maybe the CPL?

I’m waiting to see if DJI add manual video in any future updates before I buy ND filters. Maybe I’ll get a CPL or UV in the future when Operators in the UK are forced to register come July next year. Do have a very nice custom propeller holder tho.

Sorry to hear about the registration requirement for UK. I knew the 249 gram would not last long. No government can standby and let the people have freedom without taxing it, lol. We make great slaves, don’t we.

Hi, it’s a European directive that is going to be adopted and is not linked to the weight class rather the fact it has onboard data capture (ie a camera). So we’ll all have to register on the drone offenders register!

I saw that PGYtech seems to have a nifty little case for the mini (fly more though), which seems a bit more thought-through than the existing fly more combo bag:
PGYTECH DJI Mavic Mini - Carrying Case

I didn't find any other cases for the mini yet.

Edit: sorry, didn't see you already found that one.

There’s also various cases appearing on eBay now

Awesome, thanks!
I like the basic lay-out of the Fly More bag, but feel that there is a missed opportunity; the place for the charging hub is weirdly shaped, so the hub can only fit properly "upside down" (with the logo facing downward). There is some space under the charging hub and under the controller, yet when I want to include the charger wall connector, it has to lie on top of the charging hub, not really secured. Furthermore, there is no netting or so to conveniently stash cables, SD card reader, etc.

So, I'll await the new bags being brought out, maybe LowePro will make a nice bag as well, but for the moment, the PGYtech bag seems to be best.

Ended up using this $4 pencil case from Walmart. Shoved a piece of corregated cardboard between the remote and drone to avoid scratches. Works in a pinch.

Oh, that looks like a nice low-cost option as well! I take it you don't have the charging hub? I have the fly more combo and to be honest, I love cases where you can carry everything that you need (Drone, Batteries, Controller, Cables/Charger/Spare Props).

For both the Mavic 2 Pro and the Spark, I hate that I have a bag that fits everything, except the charger block and cables... They make a mess in the cupboard and I tend to forget them when travel... The mini has that mostly sorted at least!

This is the first hard case I have seen come on the market but they will be more. This would be my preferred choice unless out walking where the Dji bag would be ok.I agree it’s better if everything is together.

Thanks! I myself am not a fan at all of hard cases, especially not for the extremely compact models like the Spark and the Mavic Mini, but I know that a lot of people will be excited for this! Thumbswayup

that’s exactly what I have been looking for. Could not figure out how to hold those blades when not in use. Thank you

Hub fits right side up for me, and bottoms out.

What I don't get is the slots by the antennas that go almost to the bottom. Can't be for the antennas.

Registration took 10 mins and is no big deal. Even the Tello owners will need to register next summer as they have a camera on board and it will fall under the new laws
