Mini Mavic Mini Lighthouse Video

Last February, not long after getting a Mavic Mini, I was driving along the coast of Prince Edward Island (Province on Canada's East Coast) when I took a side road that ends near a lighthouse.

There had been a fresh snow over night and I put the MM up and headed towards the lighthouse, with the video running, hoping to come close to the lighthouse without having to abruptly change direction to miss is - fortunately I did not have to.

Since then, whenever I have had someone run down the MM and state that its video recordings were garbage, I have shown then this unedited video and changed a few minds. The video from the MM will never match the video from the higher DJI products, but at that price point, it is not bad IMHO.

That is a nice video - it made it even better that the snow was fresh and you could not see any tracks (human or animal). Beautiful area. Did you do any video circling the lighthouse? That would be a cool perspective. I thought the quality of the video was fine.

Both Clips look great. I agree with you about the quality of the video from a mavic mini. There are good reasons to pay more, but there are also good reasons to fly the mini. Happy flying
