Mavic Pro 2 camera swap

need some help here. Swapped out my pro 2 camera with a new zoom camera! Camera works and zooms but the gimbal doesn’t work at all. Check ribbon cable and swapped out but still no gimbal???

Does it move at all after power-on aside from zooming? Have you tried to calibrate it?

Can you take a screenshot of your device with the drone powered on?

Are you able to modify camera settings?

Can adjust settings. Picture is good and it also zooms. But won’t calibrate gimbal. It hasn’t moved at all. Put my pro ribbon cable on it and does the same thing.

Were you having this problem before the swap? Any crashes?

No pro camera moved and worked fine. I put it back on and it’s working again.

Yes I have smacked my brick house face first with the pro 2 camera but just scuffed some but works fine. Was in sport mode!!!

So all you're trying to do is install the zoom gimbal And it won't move? You're getting video but no gimbal movement. When you reinstall the pro 2 gimbal it moves around just fine?

I have found that sport mode in the pro 2 is like nascar mode. In the pro one it's not quite as fast. It's really easy to misjudge the pro twos speed

Yes. Put pro back on and works fine. If I can’t get this to work. Think you could fix. Live down the road in s.c. Hate waiting on new camera!!

Yep! Checking distance sensor in sport mode not to smart!!

I could test a different zoom gimbal in there before I replaced it. I have a few of them sitting around. Can I ask where you bought the gimbal from? There's a slight chance it could be defective.

I posted I was ordering one November 30. Ordered off eBay from seller bestdeals_us. They have a 98 on feedback and over 7000 sells. Was going to post the good results I hoped!!! But not good!!

Found the DJI adapter and reloaded software but it still didn’t work and the pro camera works great. So I’m trying to send it back. Now I need the plug in or board with plug in on the mavic 2 controller for charging.Do you have one???Thanks

Sounds like a defective Zoom gimbal to me. It's been proven the entire gimbal package is swapable from zoom to pro and pro to zoom with no need to do anything to the AC or RC.

Did you ever get this solved? I am trying to create a quick change mount for the camera on the mavic 2 and I need some info on the ribbon cable . Do you happen to have pictures of the process around still or maybe the cable? I need to know what type of connector is on each end of that cable
