Can you use the new Mavic Air 2 controller with the Mavic 2 Pro?

I'm pretty sure that would be a no. Actually I'm sure of it, particularly with the controllers interfacing with the mobile device. Each uses a different app, and the USB ID presented to the device which then figures out what apps go with it are different.

Besides, why would you? The M2 remote is more robust, giving you telemetry and better indicator of RC battery status.

As DanMan32 says . . . however, the Smart Controller, with it's recent software update, can be used with the Mavic 2 Pro, Zoom. and Enterprise, as well as the Air 2.

The Mavic air to use is the fly app and the Mavic two pro users go 4 app
