This at least puts us getting it this year out which was something I was expecting anyways.

Well, without any real competition to speak of they are in no hurry. Look in the past, when the market was first budding out they were literally releasing a new drone every 6-9 months... and they would also time there releases to smash the competition - like they did with GoPro... let GoPro release the Karma with all the whoopla, then two weeks later release the Mavic Pro. IMO, without good competition (Evo 2 is close, but still not fully in the game if you ask me) they will wait for things that make it more favorable for them until they release new models.
