Hi Champions, I have a mavic pro and platinum.
I have needed to replace motor arms and repair gimbals over time.

DJI use a matt rubber adhesive to hold the sensor connectors down and they have it holding wires down etc.

What is this stuff called and where can I find it?
I have the star-write liquid electrical tape, but I would like to use the same stuff they using.
Any ideas?

Cheers

I don’t known what the OEM used, but it’s pretty tough stuff. I’m sure there’s someone on the forum that has a solution.
When I have repaired my MPP, I use 100% silicone caulk. Not as tough, but it works good enough for me. I’ve replaced my camera barrel and gimbal so many times, I don’t bother putting goop on the connectors. No problems in hundreds of flights.

Haven’t been any of the Mavics yet but hope they got away from
using the Black Goo Of Death they used to use in the older Phantoms. That stuff was Hard to take off when replacing anything 🙄

Unsure of the Black Death, but here’s a close match to the white. eBay, this came via China, but I wasn’t in a hurry at that time.873CD771-7FA3-472E-A463-24DB0CD4C1E6.jpeg
