Hi I was under the impression that when flying this drone it sensors obstructions I.e walls - people and any other obstruction. This was not the case I was in beginners mode took drone up and it went close to wall and did not stop. Drone hit the wall and fell to ground. Is there a setting which u can put on to avoid obstacles etc?

How fast were you when you were approaching the wall?
Momentum will push the drone forward , if not given enough distance it will hit the wall.

It's been a while not using beginner mode, check your OA setting in app, should be ON, just to make sure. And also OA on MP1 only detect not avoid.

A little cloudy so that must be the problem.

If it was a plain coloured wall with no texture the OA will have difficulty picking it up. Also if MP1, only forward sensing - did you strike wall travelling forward or sideways/backward?
