mavic top speed

I have 2 mavics. First one I got when they first came out. I have never updated firmware because I have never had an issue.
Second one I got today used. Top speed is about 31 mph in sport mode. First one I got is 40mph in sport mode. is there a way to change that second one. Wind is not a factor.

How old are your batteries? You can try different battery combos in the 2 drones to eliminate that as a factor. Also, can you check the RPMs on both drones when you are flying them? RPM's are displayed on the controller (x 10)
