Any tried the max range yet?

What is the max distance you have done?

3 miles out over the ocean. Still had a solid signal when I turned it around!

Don't worry about flying over water, the Mavic is a solid drone, just go for it. Don't fly scared, enjoy the experience. Just make sure you establish a very good RTH spot before you take off, and watch your battery, that part is common sense, but a lot of people crash into the water because they don't have enough battery to get home.
