Thanks for the info. That is what i’m thinking in this vid. Something is missing. Thanks again ?️?A wonderfull Landscape but unfortunately some aimless shots!
beautiful, i will take note of this tip. This is so helpful. Thanks again ?️?you´r welcome! Well, what is missing? If you shoot based on the "five shot methode" your video will become much more interesting! What is the fivo shot methode? First you should shoot an overview shot which shows where you are. During this shot the drone should be very high. 60-80 meters would be ok! The camera should be pointet downward. The movement forward od backwards should be slow. Then you shoot some "mid shots" of the landscape while the drone is gently fiying downwards.
After taht you can show some details of the landscape using some closeup shots. For example the drone can fly slowly backwards (better then forwards) Why? If you fly backwards the landscape will appear little by little and reveals the different details. If you fly forward there will not be any "surprise" because one can already see every detail in the landscape. That makes the shot rather boring because there is nothing new to see!
If you shoot a good mix between overview, mid shot, closeup and medium closeup your video will become much more interesting to watch!
Another tipp: never fly too fast, don´t make to stuttering movements left/right and never pan too fast!
hopefully I could help you a little bit!

Oh thank you for the nice compliment There is any open space around where you live to fly?Well, frankly, your English is better than my German, French or probably even English, if being educated in Da Bronx, NY, is considered English (g).
Great pointers. Now if only I could find a nice locale in which to fly and practice.
I can drive to a soccer (football) field but it is kind of boring! I can also drive about 40-50 miles to National Forest land but I can't talk myself into driving that distance and not hiking (g). And more trailheads are posting signs "No drones" plug I know I would not like being buzzed by giant mosquitoes when I hike so I don't want to disturb other hikers.Oh thank you for the nice compliment There is any open space around where you live to fly?

Well, the city of Seattle prohibited all flights taking off from city streets, parks, lakes. This happened after a drone crashed into our Space Needle and after an accident at a parade where a drone crashed and injured a person on the street. You can take off from your own lot or other private property with permission. Similar restrictions in other nearby towns.Hi f22,
well an empty soccer field sounds really not very interesting!
cheers Paul

I did drag my drone to the woods once time which is shown in my avatar picture. It was Winter and while a few other hikers did not actually complain, you could tell they were not happy about the noise (a Zoom) and intrusion into the nice scenery.
