Mini 4 Pro and RC 2 disconnects

I’ve mentioned this before but I am having disconnect problems with my Mini 4 Pro and the RC 2 remote. When they disconnect they cannot be repaired immediately. I have to wait many hours before they will reconnect. I usually leave them over night then next morning when the are fired up they immediately connect as usual. I just don’t understand why the long wait period before they reconnect again? I have tried all the usual pairing methods but non of them work. If anyone has any bright ideas I would most welcome them.
