Mini iPad not showing map

I begun using a iPad mini instead of iPhone. Now I get a black rectangle and no map. Anyone knows why or how to correct?

If it’s a non-cellular iPad you won’t get a map unless you are connected to WiFi.

This won’t hurt anything as your drone has GPS so will still be able to record its home point.

Two options:

Connect your iPad Mini's Wi-Fi to your cellphone's hotspot to load maps in the field.​

If you know ahead of time where you're going to fly, you can cache the maps to the DJI Go 4 app while you're home and connected to Wi-Fi.​
