From a weekend of flying my M3P with the RC Controller I'm missing one flight in the Flight Record. I do have all the video taken during the flight but am interested in some data from the Flight Record. I have the one before and the one after but not this particular flight. It just doesn't show. Is there still a way to retrieve it? Why would this happen and how can I avoid it in the future?

powering off/removing battery before the file has time to end writing (eof) or some other corruption and it got discarded by the software!!! Guess!

That applies to video files, but not flight records which are recorded by the app on your phone or tablet.

Have you checked to see if the data is at the start/end of the flights before/after? It may be that the end of one flight and the start of the next wasn't logged as such and the logs have 2 flights where you expect there to be 3.

Where have you looked for the data?
Have you looked in your flight data centre?
Are the records there sorted in date order?

Thanks all for the replies. This hint helped to solve the problem. My fault---there was no missing flight from the Flight Record in the Flight data center. I was in passenger seat flying the M3P while following our jeep through a canyon. When we found a good spot to stop and land the drone, I began to bring it in but then noticed that there was a good bit of time left on the battery. So I turned the drone around and flew back up the canyon for additional footage. When I got around to looking at footage a couple of days later, I thought there were 2 flights. By looking at the flight record carefully, I could see when/where I turned the M3P around and headed back. Thank you for the replies; sorry for the false alarm. The amount of time I'm getting on these M3P batteries is a nice upgrade from my previous drones. That fooled me into thinking that there must have been 2 flights instead of just 1.
