Mounting Crystalsky in Mavic RC

What is the best way to mount the CrystalSky to the Mavic RC?

I have this tablet holder. Would it work?

Doubtful - but as I do not the crystal sky, I can't say for sure.

Best way is to measure both the crystal sky dimensions and compare them to the Amazon spec dimensions.

Crystal Sky is pretty thick and I think the battery mounts to the back.

Hmmmm. I guess I'll find out soon as I ordered the 5.5 inch version. [emoji14]

The battery sticks out in the back so I don't think this mount will work

I have that mount also but it won't work due to the battery on the crystalsky. I just use velcro stuck on the back of the monitor and on the fold out arms. Works a treat.

Sounds like a good idea. What size crystalsky do you have?

Thanks! I think the 5.5" may be the best for portability, which is why I got the Mavic in the first place.

DJI has stated the larger CrystalSky display is not compatible with Mavics anyway. I'm surprised they didn't design/release a Mavic mount for the 5.5" version.

I seen on the MavMount site the other day that their Crystal Sky mount for all models will be out this week.
It looks legit being solid machined aluminum as their regular mount is and anodized in the color of choice, not bad for $27.99
But yes, all models of the Crystal Sky are compatible with the Mavic, DJI cleared this up on their own forum. Apparently it had something to do with the mount they designed for the Mavic RC.

I have the 7.85 Ultra on pre-order with Advexure and they expect to have this MavMount in stock very soon.

According to Mike@Advexure, both of the 7.85" monitors are compatible with the MavicPro. They are hoping for the 7.85 Ultra in mid-to-late August.

I may be selling an iPad Mini 4 in that same timeframe.

I made a universal mount, very durable and battery can easily be removed for charging.
I have one for sale, €45 including cable.
