I thought this harbor made a nice "leading line" into the Miami skyline. The problem is that anything but a perspective stitch would make the nice straight lines of the bulkhead next to the harbor into curves that didn't look good. But Lightroom and Photoshop balked at doing the stitch. Fortunately ptGui was able to do it. Anyway here is is.

Very nice shot!

Colorful. Sadly I remember a time when most of that was wild. Guess it’s still wild but in a different way.

I like the composition, and the balance of ambient and city light. Well done again!

Gorgeous photo. It looks like you have it loaded on Google Photos. Check me on this, but I am pretty sure in that lengthy legalize you have to agree to, Google now owns the rights to that photo.

Not sure. It's in a Google Drive, not Google Photos AFAIK. But I actually don't care. I'm happy to let people use my photos for whatever enjoyment they get out of them.

@waynorth @GFields @PHZ Thanks! Glad you like them. I'm pumped it's possible to get good image quality photos out of a "flying camera". So cool and useful. :)

This is misinformation and untrue.

Miami / Florida is kind of an unlikely place for people to live. And there are lot of places in the state that are still wild. I want to do some more exploring in the (non-national park) Everglades.

You aced that shot. Have to pinch myself that drones are that capable of taking pictures of that quality remotely. Having a good eye like yours definitely helps. The drone is just a tool 🙂

Thanks! And I 100% agree about the drone just being a tool in the toolbox. Super useful, especially because Florida is so darn flat--hard to get good vantage points. It's amazing that we can get M4/3'rds sensors in a consumer(ish) drone.

It is, absolutely amazed at what my new Air3s does. So many compositional options.

My wife and I are looking at coming to Orlando and Palm Beach next year for vacation

Please check the terms on Google Photos. I think they may be different.

It appears that my information was incorrect and I apologize for the misinformation.
Everything I googled (oops), says that the person who uploaded the photos retains ownership.

Yes of course the photographer retains ownership, but when uploading a photo you give Google the rights to use the photo. From the terms of serivce for Drive:
"When you upload, submit, store, send or receive content to or through Google Drive, you give Google a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (such as those resulting from translations, adaptations or other changes we make so that your content works better with our services), communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute such content. The rights you grant in this license are for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our services, and to develop new ones. This license continues even if you stop using our services unless you delete your content. Make sure you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any content that you submit to Google Drive."
