for now, I have no intention of changing the camera, I wanted to see the difference, and if I like it (I'm primarily interested in how the night - sunset photos looks as opposed to a zoom camera) , I'll probably get another mavic

That pro camera cost $700 I think ? Unless you will have chance to change it back to zoom in the future, it will be more economical to sell the zoom and get a used pro. You will need to shell out less than $200

I also changed the zoom to a pro camera a few months ago and think about swapping it back and put the zoom camera back on my Mavic the zoom is 4K also and really like the zoom option it took good pictures and videos.at least for my needs and that’s just my opinion

New Mavic 2 aircraft only are sold by MidCityHobby on eBay. Price varies from $475 to $599 depending upon supply. One RC is all you need. Just link the RC to whichever aircraft you are flying. Takes 20 seconds! Thumbswayup

How many times would you be comfortable switching back and forth? Due to the fragility of the ribbon cable connector.
dji arizona told me that the most you can switch cameras is 6 times before the cable becomes an issue.

Yes, and that is if you do it perfectly every time. If you ever try snapping it back in with the pins even slightly misaligned, it's over, and replacing the cable itself will be the least of your issues, as the receiving part is on the motherboard. Best done once, or twice, only if you change your mind!
