Bold move. Be sure nothing was blown into the normally shielded area before reinstalling the top cover.

I've done that with repairs to my P3, except I didn't fly, just started and revved motors without props.
I would first do it without gimbal installed. Freaked me out at first as it would assume it was a Pro rather than Advance without the gimbal.
