If I left the video on automatic with the proper ND filter installed for the weather conditions, would the auto exposure adjust to something close to the the 1/2 ratio of fsp to ISO? and might It make faster and better adjustments that an amateur video guy?

Asking because I just got the Taco filters for my Mavic and looking to learn as much about videography as I can.

Also would I need to remove the filters for still photography or make some sort of camera adjustment to compensate?

No, do not leave it on Auto, go Manual. You need to be able to adjust for the conditions and lock the settings, and if you have to, adjust up or down 1 increment to try and keep it +/- 0. The goal is to shoot at ISO 100, 24 FPS and have a shutter speed of 1/50. You cannot guarantee that in AUTO. It will take some practice and it may be that you have to swap out filters at some point. But if you are shooting with those settings and your Exposure remains at +/- 0, then everything will look the "same" even if you swap to different filters.

For photos, the ND isnt as much of a requirement as you dont have any FPS to deal with. Just shoot in RAW mode, not JPG. You can make most of the adjustments in post. If you leave the ND filters on, that's ok, just compensate for the difference by speeding up the shutter.

the problem is that I can't lock the exposure once setting the shutter speed....right? I'm testing some ND filters and I can choose the shutter speed but the Mavic continues to change the exposure and I risk a footage with different light during the same flight.....can you help me please with this?
thank you very much
