Nd filter variable or not ?

Ok so still not sure as to keep the non variable Nd filters or get the freewell variable,i really like the idea of having a lot of adjustment in one variable filter but not to sure if you can see any differences especially on a large 4khdr tv .
any users out there of the freewell set of variables just about ready to pull the trigger on a set on amazon.

I bought these and don't use the variable filter bc the adjustment is so difficult to turn with large hands ...no notches and it's smooth (for some reason)
