Arrived a day early!! Unboxed, charging it up.
It even has that new car smell...
Unfortunately the Go Fly app appears incompatible with my Kyocera phone so it looks like Ill have to try Litchi.

Yes sir, PW. It started up in Litchi and even loaded one of my missions! Now I just need a longer usb patch cord to reach my tablet. Any idea which flavor is in the controller end? Is it USB-C?

Doesn't look like it matters, now. Its a doorstop. The controller won't connect to a mobile device.

Looking at the photos, which Mavic is it? It looks too dark to be an Air 2. If you are trying to use Litchi, the SDK has still not been released for the Mini 2, Air 2S, or Mavic 3 so it will not work with 3rd party apps. Only DJI Fly.

Its an MA 2. It requires DJI FLY and that won't load on any of my mobile devices. I'm going to pick up a cheap tablet that (reportedly) will run DJI FLY.
I went to the 'what's new' page on Litchi and it reports support for the MA 2. From their page:

Android: Litchi for DJI Mavic / Phantom / Inspire / Spark

Version 4.19.0 (October 7, 2021)
- added support for Mavic Air 2
- added way point mode for Mavic Mini 1 and Mavic Air 2
- added support for a secondary video feed for drones with multiple cameras
- Facebook login is no longer supported. If you were using Facebook to log in, please migrate your Litchi account at Facebook Login - Litchi
- fixed a bug in Follow mode where the gimbal would not stay on the subject when there are elevation changes
- misc improvements and bug fixes

I could be wrong, but you may need to activate the drone through dji fly before you can start messing with 3rd party software

Maybe you can borrow a supported device to activate the drone, then try litchi

Ahhhh. I didn’t notice. I usually only look at top few posts
