Understood. The word hydro, at least in a radius of 5,000 miles to my location, is a short name used for Hydro Electric Generating Dam.

Man damns up the river, throws in some turbines. Runs the captured water through the turbines, and generates lots of electricity. We use them quite a bit in this part of Canada. Some of the Eastern part. Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick (me).

This one is actually baby size. They make em real big in Quebec. And in China, they are miles long.
