New Mavic Air 2 will not fly left or right.

So I just got my first drone. Watched tons of video's beforehand and followed the directions to the T. First flight was today and it will not fly left or right. It will go forward, backward, up and down but no let or right. I have done the update firmware out of the box and everything says latest update. Gimbal calibrated, controller calibrated, compass calibrated. DJI said to return it to the place I bought it from (Camrise) for a replacement. Am I missing anything before I go that route??

Check your APAS or Obstacle Avoidance settings

What exactly am I looking for there? It was set to go around obstacles, not stop or off. No obstacles around to avoid where I started from.

Just as well nobody said “read the manual”.... cos this new setting ain’t in there!
