I saw the sun set golden on a hill
With crimson streamers of the dying day
Mid molten copper clouds, with many a ray
And glowing shaft of dazzling light, and still
The sunlight faded not, but seemed to fill
The sky with splendor as if it would stay
Forever beautiful nor pass away
Except in glory and with dauntless will.
