New to litchi

Hey guys. I'm new to this site and it seems after reading the forum that litchi is the way to go. I just purchased it for my mavic pro and air but why do I get this blue screen every time? Sorry if it's a dumb question.

Does it do the same thing when you are outside and are in GPS mode?

No I wasn't flying near an airport just exploring the app but I'm in a NFZ so I guess blue means bad and red means really bad

I haven't used Litchi in a while so cannot say what their color codes mean, but the basic rule is no flying within five miles of an airport. If flying in a new place, I use Google Earth to draw a five mile circle around my planned launch site and look for airfields. The blue circles in your attachment are less than 3 miles from Logan Intl. so you will need to get further out than what is shown.

For $30 you can't go wrong! Read some of the other posts about Litchi on this forum.

You can self unlock blue area, but usually not a good idea if that close to red zone runway tracks.
Some airports, even major ones will let you fly in the blue areas if you give them notice. Tampa Intl has a website for example to give them notice for 3 area airports and a map of where you can fly and how high.

Yah I live extremely close to Logan airport . I only hover it in my house and turn it on to calibrate . Looking forward to learning more about the hobby. Thanks guys!
