I’ve looked everywhere and cannot find an answer to this question. So when you take off and the drone goes to 4 feet and hovers, how can you make it auto land from that point? Do you just hit RTH?

Assuming normal DJI config. Left stick down, it'll hesitate then descend.

touch the autoland icon on the screen its the same as the take off one only the arrow is pointing downwards

post#2 will make it land but you specified autoland that method is manual

the auto land may cancel though if it detects uneven ground below it. itll pop up on the screen though and just stop landing

Down stick is best in my opinion. CSC to start motors in idle, then up stick to take off. I don't recommend CSC to shut motors, although the Mavics don't gradually touch down after the last foot or so but rather just land and power off.
