no pictures

while flying the drone I have real time view of what the camera sees, but no pictures are sent to the phone or the sd card. any ideas?

Really a wide open question. Are you in photo mode and pressing the button to take a photo? Are you in video mode and pressing the button to take a video? Did you install the SD card correctly and confirmed via DJI Go app that it is saving to the SD card? Are you removing the SD card, placing it into your computer and confirming if photos and videos were saved?

I have done every thing that you suggested except confirming by the dji app that it is saving to the card and I don't know how to do that.
