If you are going to replace your gimbal ribbon cable, be very, very careful of which ribbon cable you choose to use. By using a non-tested cable or non-DJI OEM product, you can not only destroy the cable itself when you install it, but can potentially fry your gimbal PCB, or even worse, your gimbal motor assembly.
MANY non-tested ribbon cables do not have the high quality controls used by DJI. Yes, you can buy a generic ribbon cable for $5 but if it destroys the rest of your gimbal, it's not worth it.
If you are not sure about how to replace the cable, or which cable to use, dont risk damaging your drone. To me, there is nothing worse than the smell of a burning motor assembly.
