Has anyone with the original mavic mini ever had a prop come off mid flight? It had happed to me before I’m icing conditions when ice had made the propeller vibrate and come off.

No, nor with the Mini 2. BUT I did find a loose prop screw once, I am not sure how close it was to 'dropping' out. It is a good idea to check that they are nipped up from time to time but remember the screw threads are tiny so don't use a 6ft spanner to tighten them.

Happened to me with My M2P, luckily at low altitude so the damage to the drone was minimal, never found the propeller, my own fault as I did not check the attachment carefully enough after propeller replacement.
