A small local park, Hillcrest Heights is a hidden treasure much appreciated by nearby residents. The baseball games once played here every night have moved to more extensive facilities a short walk away, leaving the diamond as an unofficial dog park. The East Don River winds through the park, watering trees that shelter cardinals, jays, heron, ducks, rabbits, and the occasional coyote.
